Marie Zhang, PhD, MBA, is a problem-solver and an effective scientific leader specializing in pharmaceutical and research reagent product development. Now overseeing the R&D team at Imagion Biosystems, she is presently directing the development of MagSense technology test reagents. Dr. Zhang brings more than 20 years of diverse industry experience, including significant management and scientific leadership roles leading to start-up funding, M&A, and IPO events. Previous assignments include protein chemistry leadership at Dart Neuroscience, co-founder and COO at MicroStem, Staff Scientist at Stratagene (now Agilent) Senior Scientist at SGX Pharmaceutical (now Lilly), and Research Scientist at 3DP (now Johnson & Johnson). Dr. Zhang earned her PhD degree at Purdue University and holds an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UCSD.
